Vernate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 20 km southwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,594 and an area of 14.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Vernate contains the frazione (subdivision) Pasturago.
